Welcome to Cokato Elementary SchoolWelcome to the Cokato Elementary website, home of the D-C Chargers students and staff, where learning and growing happen daily. We are home to just over 500 students in Kindergarten through 4th grade, over 40 highly trained and dedicated educators who are passionate about teaching your children, and just over 30 support staff who assist in our schools daily routines and operations. My name is Brian Franklin, and I am very excited to be a part of the Cokato Elementary family!
The mission of Cokato Elementary is designed to provide an enriching educational experience for all children. We create an environment that helps children reach their maximum potential. Our school community works together to prepare each student for continued personal growth and responsible citizenship. We are proud to offer each student a comprehensive educational program which meets the needs of all children. At Cokato Elementary we also reflect the values and priorities of our community, parents, and students.
If you are the parents of an incoming Kindergarten student, we welcome you and your child to a new experience and learning adventure at Cokato Elementary. If you are a returning 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade student, we look forward to your leadership, guidance, and continued commitment to your learning in the coming school year. If you are considering enrolling your child, please feel free to contact us to schedule a tour of Cokato Elementary or just simply stop by for a visit. I encourage all parents of school age children to be enthusiastic, supportive, and involved in their children’s learning to inspire the children to perform their best in everything they do here at Cokato Elementary. You are a key component to all around success of your child! We always welcome visits and volunteer opportunities from parents and community to help support children’s learning at Cokato Elementary.
The Dassel-Cokato Public Schools district and school websites are filled with valuable information and resources for students, parents, and the community. If you should have any questions about Cokato Elementary, our district, websites, or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact me or the office staff.
